Solar Charging Stations for electric assisted bikes are based on the popular BIKE-SHELL® 352 all fiberglass lockers redesigned to accommodate a solar powered generating system to give that boost when away from home.

The Solar-Shell™ is American Bicycle Security's best made bike locker, more durable, more attractive, and lower maintenance than all others.

The finish never needs painting, will not rust or corrode and is extremely resistant to most stains.

With the world wide focus on alternative energy sources and the necessity of alternative transportation, the electric bike has proven a realistic and affordable source of transportation, applying to commuters, recreation and law enforcement.

The Solar-Shell™ charging stations incorporate PV (Photovoltaic) panels, electronics and plug-in for battery charging. They arrive with panels preset at the proper angle for optimum exposure at your latitude.

They use a PV (Photovoltaic) panels, controller unit, a Solar/Cell maintenance free sealed gel battery and 12 VDC to 110 VAC inverter outlet to accommodation battery charging.
